Contractor's notes with images - Myrke Ditch Turf problem
The saga of the Myrke Embankment and Ditch continues with the EA currently conducting an experimental small scale repair to the failing embankment.
These images were taken on 5 October 2011.
You will notice that the turf placed onto earth filled bags has already died.
The close-up image below reveals that the earth is being washed out.
