The Jubilee River story - Slough Weir problems - 2005 - £680,000
Sub-standard design - extensive damage - costly repair!
Slough Weir and associated downstream banks were severely damaged in January 2003. Repairs in 2005 cost £680,000.
In order to execute the works it was necessary to reduce the water level in the down stream reach thus leaving the Black Potts Weir dry.
