The Slough Weir Saga
The downstream weir surface protection and both embankments at Slough Weir were severely damaged on first use of the Jubilee River in January 2003. Repairs in 2005 cost about £630,000 and the established fresh water Mussel population at Black Potts was destroyed in the process.
