Kingsmead Quarry - What is the material?
I am still trying to identify the slurry material! Firstly I raised a Freedom of Information request on the RBWM as follows:
(External link to source document: http://www.rbwm.gov.uk/public/ER63249_Redacted_Response.PDF)
Further to your Information request ER63249, please find your questions and our responses below:
Questions: It is alleged that one of your councillors has been involved in slurry storage on leased land at Kingsmead Quarry in Horton. Can you please let me know what precisely the nature of this slurry is? Also the quantities and the timescales over which the slurry material was both deposited and removed?
Response: I have been advised the Council received a request to investigate a potential breach of planning control at Kingsmead Quarry on 12th April 2011. The final visit by the planning enforcement officer was on 16th June, by which time the slurry had been removed and the pits levelled. The exact dates the slurry was deposited and removed are not known.
Information on the nature of the slurry and its quantity is not held by the Council.
This concludes your request ER63249.
To be added - Public Question to RBWM Council Meeting (rejected).
