Hello!

Welcome to a site dedicated to keeping a very close eye on the £640m  ‘River Thames Scheme’ proposals and ensuring that the mistakes of the past are not repeated.

The River Thames scheme will create three flood alleviation channels next to the River Thames and improve capacity at three weirs. It will run from Datchet in Berkshire, through Surrey to Teddington. The scheme will also create four country parks as well as 23km of new footways and cycle paths.

Thank you for visiting!

You can check out the  previous £100m project and its ‘shortcomings’ here via the local link to Jubilee River
