Kingsmead Quarry - Not one site - but two!
Now I realise that there is a second slurry operation site at the Kingsmead Quarry.
The second site is approximately 200m NE of the old quarry entrance in Welley Road.........
The site lies towards the top right hand side of the (relatively old) Google Earth image below:
