The Jubilee River story - Clive Onions - Flood, sweat and jeers (Aug 2004)

Clive Onions was the 'independent' Chairman of the Flood Risk Action Group, paid by the Environment Agency to investigate and report on the January 2003 flood event.  After the Mechanisms of Flooding Report by Clive Onions report was published in April 2004 the following article appeared in the Windsor Express dated 12 August 2004. I have reproduced Clive's formal response dated 17 August 2004 below.

Please note Clive's reported comment - "My role was to investigate whether the Jubilee River contributed to flooding downstream, not to investigate possible damage to the construction.  The two issues were completely separate."
