{"id":40,"date":"2020-03-06T15:23:12","date_gmt":"2020-03-06T15:23:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/flooding.london\/rts\/?page_id=40"},"modified":"2020-04-10T22:46:37","modified_gmt":"2020-04-10T22:46:37","slug":"partnership-funding","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/flooding.london\/rts\/rts-funding-observer-1-4-2020\/partnership-funding\/","title":{"rendered":"RTS Funding &#8211; RBWM Press Release &#8211; March 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Please note: This page is in reverse chronological order &#8211; with new info at the top<\/span><\/h4>\n<h3><strong>30\/3\/2020 &#8211; RBWM Press Release<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"page-title\" class=\"page-article__heading\">An update from the Royal Borough of Windsor &amp; Maidenhead on its participation in the River Thames Scheme<\/h3>\n<p class=\"small-text date\"><strong>Published:<\/strong>\u00a0Monday, 30th March 2020<\/p>\n<p class=\"summary\">A spokeswoman from the Royal Borough of Windsor &amp; Maidenhead said:<\/p>\n<div class=\"editor\">\n<p>\u201cWe and the River Thames Scheme are committed to seeing the fruition of the whole of the scheme and we are pleased that the outline business case (OBC) will continue to feature the Berkshire section of the scheme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCurrently, funding for the Berkshire scheme has not be resolved but we will continue to work with the River Thames Scheme to identify funding for this part of the scheme in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notes to editors:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The River Thames Scheme, which is currently estimated to cost \u00a3475 million, would see the introduction of three new flood channels in three areas from Datchet to Teddington. \u00a3250 million of funding has been secured but there is a funding shortfall.
