Temporary flood barrier proposal for Wraysbury

In February 2017 the Environment Agency suggested the following route for a temporary flood barrier in Wraysbury..........and are investigating enabling works.

I think experience has shown that flood events have a tendency to unite communities and bring the best out of them.

I cannot think of a better way of dividing a community than for the EA to defend properties on one side of the road........while leaving those on the other side to flood.  Furthermore I find the concept of defending fields somewhat odd!
