Datchet, Horton & Wraysbury - Are your Councillors effective?
(This page monitors your local Councillors'
performance in resolving the local issues and in particular their ability and swiftness in fulfilling the promises given during and since the election campaign.)23/5/2007 - Road markings at traffic lights on Sunnymeads Bridge need improvement. Traffic often backs up along the Horton side of the bridge because vehicles stop in the wrong position at the lights, thus failing to activate the sensors in the road.
Cllr. Rayner stated (Observer 18/5/2007) '..if they [that's you - the voters] feel that I am not doing a good job, then they will let me know at the next election.'
Sorry, but I am not prepared to wait years for some action on flooding. Too many individuals have avoided accountability for too long. This is a serious issue and we need action now!
Cllr. Rayner announced that ' the problem of mud on the road from the gravel works on Welley Road, Horton is solved'
FACT - Friday 11 May 2007 - mud yet again on Welley Road, Horton - caused by lorries leaving the site having used the temporary haul road adjacent to railway line. What about wheel washing??
