Baroness Young and the Dr Foster Hospital Guide 2009

Baroness Young (Chair of the Care Quality Commission) has commented on the Dr Foster Hospital Guide 2009.

 

Could this be the very same Baroness Barbara Young of Old Scone (previously CEO – Environment Agency) who in November 2003 amended a draft EA Board Paper that raised the issue of the substandard £110m Jubilee River flood channel?

When referring to ‘Concern that the channel capacity does not meet the design criteria’ Baroness Young deleted the words ‘Resulting potential liability issues’ and noted ‘Do we really want to highlight these in public’?

Here we go again?
