Flooding football pitches?

Cast your mind back 3-4 years to the publication of your Humber Estuary Shoreline Management Plan and a meeting between myself, my wife and you at your Willerby office.
 
I put it to you then that the Environment Agency had skewed it's priorities in favour of various Quangos such as the RSPB, Natural England, the CPRE and the rest to the detriment of the taxpayers who pay your salaries and inflation linked pensions. Put another way you put the welfare of Natterjack Toads, Great Crested Newts and the rest ahead of humans.
 
Tonight on Look North we learn of the deferment of the construction of a bund at Balderswick because Sport England is worried about the flooding of one of its football pitches!
 
Will your organisation never learn?
