24/4/2009 - Cllr. Jesse Grey - RBWM Mayor elect...........

This the same Cllr. Jesse Grey who rarely attends Datchet Parish Council meetings, and states that

'many of the [flooding] problems cited were minor ones',

'the former Thames Flood Forum had run its course'

'the Jubilee River now appeared to be operating okay'

Councillor Grey voted against Cllr Beer's motion (below) at 24/2/2009 RBWM Council Meeting

“This Council notes the ongoing problems with Ordinary Water Course and River Thames management and demands that regular Councillor and community liaison with the Environment Agency is restored via the Thames Flood Forum, and that the support of other Councils and the local MPs be sought to address these matters.”

The Motion was lost
