Environment chief faces questions at Morpeth

Lord Smith
Lord Smith

THE latest meeting of the Morpeth Flood Action Group (MFAG) was very useful for those who attended.
They were advised by various experts about insurance and loss adjuster issues, while Building Control Officer Peter Brierley from Castle Morpeth Council spoke about what building works could be required.

The next meeting of the group will be on Monday, December 15 at Morpeth County First School, Goosehill, from 7pm.

It will be the last before Christmas and committee members will inform those who attend what they will be discussing with Environment Agency Chairman Lord Smith when he visits the town on Thursday, December 18.

Suggestions for what else to put to him will be welcome.
