Thanks for seizing the initiative on these ridiculous proposals! My interests (happy to declare) are:

 

Moored in a small boat at Days Lock in the summer on an EA mooring (this is one of the threatened houses). Less supervision = more vandalism = less flood control actions= less safe navigation and locking = less safe walking. 

I think also the way EA treated its staff in SECRETLY steering these plans through for a year without consulting ANYBODY is an absolute disgrace........and against all Gov't. policy on "transparency" .

 

I'm also upper Thames rep of NABO (National Assoc. of Boat Owners) and their rep for RUG3 (Sandford to Cleeve) - from whom vociferous protests have already started to emerge!  So I think a NATIONAL campaign is the way forward (IWA, NABO, etc. etc.)

 

I noticed reference to your s.o.s campaign email address.  Would it also be a good idea to start a campaign on the no. 10 website?
