Subject: PLEASE HELP THE LOCKKEEPERS

 

My husband and I would like to add our names to the petition to save our lockkeepers and their families from being evicted from their homes.  We desperately need them to be on hand to manage the locks and Weirs, they have done an excellent job for us ALL and we need them to stay where they are.  Removing them would be a huge mistake and a disaster waiting to happen.  There is no way this can work without them being there on hand.
