Further information on Education and Truancy

• In my opinion the choice of secondary education is still sadly lacking.
• I am very concerned about some secondary school performance standards.
• I am very concerned about some secondary school absence statistics.
• I am concerned about truancy.
• I am very concerned that some children appear to be neither in education nor training.

If elected, I will focus my efforts on ensuring that those people responsible for local education are made accountable, changes agreed, incorporated and monitored.
