Further information on Crime and Vandalism

In my opinion the levels of local crime and vandalism are totally unacceptable, and just because this is a national problem does not mean that we should tolerate such behaviour locally.

It appears to me that a small number of well-known individuals are responsible for a significant detrimental impact on the community.  These are persons who know their rights but have no understanding of their duties and responsibilities to society.  In particular, I strongly object to being threatened and abused while delivering my campaign literature.

With support from the public, the new 'Community Policing' initiative may lead to further improvement in this area!

If elected, I will work with the community and the authorities with the objective of achieving measurable and permanent improvement over time.
