I have viewed your website and I must say I have seldom read such rubbish. Today I visited the Jubilee River, with which I have no connection, and the riverside at Maidenhead and Cookham. It is perfectly obvious that the JR is doing today exactly what it was intended to do, namely avoid the flooding of these section as in the winter of 2000/2001. As for wanting flood plains to fulfill their natural function of absorbing water in times of stress: what could be more sensible!
