Oxford City Council is gearing up for potential flash floods after the Met Office issued a severe weather warning.

Forecasters are predicting heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms will fall overnight throughout the South East.

The city council is working to ensure gulleys and gratings are clear and emergency plans are in place.
